About the Conference
To promote the global participation of practicing engineers, researchers, technical and industrial experts worldwide, the Industry Applications Society (IAS) has organized the 2026 IEEE IAS Annual Meeting, that will be held at Vancouver Convention Centre, in Vancouver, Canada, October 4–8, 2026.
Submit digests for presentation and discussion on current developments and future trends in applications of electrical technology to fields such as industrial and commercial power systems, electrical standards, data centers, process controls, robotics and automation, electrostatics, mining, metals, smart grid, smart cities, energy conversion applications, and smart manufacturing.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
- Industrial Power and Energy Systems, Smart Grids, Energy Storage Systems, Carbon-neutral Power and Energy Systems.
- Best practice for Data Centers, including their design, analysis, monitoring, maintenance, safety, and operation.
- Industrial Lighting Systems, including Sources, Display Technologies, and Drivers.
- Fundamentals and Industrial Applications of Electrostatics, including Electro-hydrodynamics, Electrostatic Measurements, Computation Electrostatics, Electrostatic Precipitation and Separation, Coronas and Gas Discharges.
- Smart Manufacturing, Intelligent Process Control, and Factory Automation.
- Industry 4.0 and Best Practices in Industrial Automation and Control.
- Regulation and Utilization of Electricity for the Control of Industrial Process including machinery, heating, and electrical safety. Industrial applications in continuous process industries, including metal production, mining, petrochemical, and others.
SUBMISSION OF PAPER
The organizing committee of the 2026 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting (IEEE IAS’26) conference would like to invite authors to submit papers to this meeting. Papers are sought for presentations and discussions on current developments and future trends in all fields within the scope of the Industry Applications Society. This includes applications of electrical technology to the fields of industrial and commercial power systems, manufacturing systems development and applications, and process industries. Examples include electrical standards, data centers, process controls, robotics and automation, electrostatics, mining, metals, smart grid, smart cities, energy conversion applications, smart manufacturing, and electrical safety.
All paper submissions must be in English. One author must be selected as the corresponding author, and an email address must be provided for that individual.
Before submitting any final manuscript, at least one author must register for the conference and pay the full conference registration fee. In order to be eligible for submitting papers, participants (IEEE student members, IEEE members, IEEE Life Members, IEEE non-members, etc.) must select the full conference registration rate.
Accepted papers from the main technical program will be published in IEEE Xplore. Papers that are scheduled for presentations but are not presented will not be included in IEEE Xplore. The final manuscripts for the Conference Record will be submitted electronically via the Scholar-One Manuscript Central website. All papers will be screened for plagiarism using CrossCheck. When submitting the manuscript, the submitting author must conduct an IEEE Copyright Transfer.
