Welcome Message from the Technical Program Committee Chairs

The future of our world is closely tied to advancements in electrification technologies, which play a vital role in improving global prosperity. As electrification becomes increasingly central to industries worldwide, its applications from energy conversion and industrial control to transportation and power generation are essential for transforming natural energy sources into practical, usable power.

The IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Annual Meeting has established a long tradition of providing a leading global platform for practicing engineers, researchers, and technical experts to present and discuss current developments and future trends in applications of electrical technology. The 2026 IAS Annual Meeting will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from October 4 to 8, 2026 at the award-winning Vancouver Convention Centre in Vancouver with two connected buildings on the downtown waterfront. The Technical Program Committee (TPC), made up of Chairs, Senior Editors, and Associate Editors, will lead a rigorous review process for submitted papers, with each paper evaluated by international experts.

All accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, ensuring global accessibility and visibility. Authors are also encouraged to submit extended versions of their work for consideration either in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications or IEEE Industry Applications Magazine, following the publication’s editorial policies.
