The 2026 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), is scheduled to be held in Vancouver, Canada, from October 4-8, 2026, at the Vancouver Convention Center. This conference will be an excellent opportunity for all attendees to expand their knowledge, network with colleagues, and enjoy Vancouver’s sights and sounds.
The IEEE IAS Annual Meeting is the leading conference in electrical and electronic engineering, attracting a diverse group of attendees who share the IAS’s goal of advancing the theory and practice of designing, manufacturing, and applying safe, sustainable, reliable, and intelligent electrical systems, equipment, and services.
The event promotes the publication of innovative research across various technical fields. These include Industrial Power and Energy Systems, Smart Grids, Energy Storage Systems, and Carbon-neutral Power and Energy Systems. The conference also emphasizes emerging technologies, such as best practices for Data Centers—covering their design, analysis, monitoring, maintenance, safety, and operation. Additionally, it encompasses Industrial Lighting Systems, including sources, display technologies, and drivers. Key areas also feature fundamentals and industrial applications of electrostatics, such as electrohydrodynamics, electrostatic measurements, computational electrostatics, electrostatic precipitation and separation, and gas discharges and corona. Contributions will also focus on Smart Manufacturing, intelligent process control, factory automation, Industry 4.0, best practices in industrial automation, and controls. The 2026 IAS Annual Meeting also offers a comprehensive platform to explore innovations in power conversion systems, electric machinery, and sustainable energy solutions supporting modern industrial processes. The event will address the regulation and use of electricity to control industrial processes, including machinery, heating, and electrical safety. Industrial applications in continuous processes such as metal production, mining, and petrochemicals are integral to the technical program. This event provides a unique opportunity for authors to share their findings with a global audience, promoting collaboration and advancing the latest developments in industrial applications.
