The 2027 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting invites proposals for high-quality, practical industrial contributions: individual Industry Presentations and/or organised Panel Sessions. The emphasis is on real-world engineering R&D programs, case studies, experience, deployment challenges, lessons learned, best practices, standards needs and future industrial directions.
No regular paper submission is required and presentation materials will not be published in IEEE Xplore. A short abstract will need to be submitted with details provided below.
Contributions Invited
1. Industry Presentations
Industry Presentations are individual technical talks intended to share industrial experience. Presentations will be approximately 25 minutes including questions and will be selected based on a short proposal or abstract.
2. Panel Sessions
Panel Sessions are organized, moderated discussions on timely industrial topics. They should stimulate exchange between industry, academia, standards bodies and application experts. Panel Sessions will be approximately 90 minutes and should normally include a moderator and several panelists from more than one organization.

Industry Applications Society, including but not limited to the below. The Industry Presentation Sessions particularly welcome contributions addressing:
- Data centres and critical power systems
- Electric machines, drives and electrified transportation
- Power electronics and energy conversion systems
- Industrial automation, control and smart manufacturing
- Lighting, electrostatics and specialized industrial applications
- Process and heavy industry applications
- Industrialization of electrical technologies from prototype to product
- Reliability, testing, qualification, certification and safety of electrical systems
- Energy infrastructure, microgrids, storage and resilient power systems
- Lessons learned from major industrial demonstrators and field deployments

Industry Presentation:
-
Title; presenter name, affiliation and contact details, short abstract describing technical content and industrial relevance, main topic area. Approximately 300 – 500 words.
- Panel Session:
- Moderator/organiser to submit one A4 page, including title, proposed panelists, topic motivation, and key questions/themes.
- Interested panelist to submit half A4 page including their biography and interested topics.

Notification of acceptance: February 15th, 2027
